Marina Abramović

I went to NYC over the weekend. I had an amazing time. We went to the MoMa and saw the Marina Abramović exhibition, both her performance piece of The Artist is Present and the 6th floor exhibition covering her whole body of work. I waited a total of 8 hours in line to sit with her. I'm glad I got to be a part of this piece. I've never really been drawn to performance work, but something about her pieces intrigues me. They speak loudly without being overly-dramatic. Maybe it's because I've never experienced a live performance work like this, but I am very interested in her at the moment.
